I am in love with the combination of orange and pink. Lately, I have had a bit of an obsession with anything orange. I was lucky enough to snag a treasure on Etsy and show off the orange creations of my fellow NJ artists.

Almost a week later
I finally completed the earring/necklace custom order. I have some really icky pictures, but I will post them anyway. It is raining and gross out so I just shot them inside without my light box. My day job is still insanely busy so I didn't have time to drag out and set up the light box. This is just a quickie! I have to get back to work.

Custom Orders, etc.
Wow! I am feeling very blessed. I have 3 custom orders to do. The first is for a necklace and matching earrings with the same beads as my Purple Cow necklace. Let me tell you, I had to go on the ultimate bead hunt! There is only 1 craft store that I generally go to. I went off looking for the beads. It took forever, but I finally saw and nabbed the last container of them. It was hiding behind other containers of beads. Whew, I got lucky!
My next custom order is for a Worry Not doll that has fingers and toes. I have been playing around a bit, but need to work out the logistics of it still.
Finally, I just got another custom order last night for a pair of larger Worry Not dolls. I have been thinking about how to work it out. The biggest I have made was about 6 or 7". This request is for a pair that are about 12".
I am very excited and feel so blessed that everything is going well. :o)
Now, on a completely unrelated note, I thought it would be nice to share a little about me. So here is a pictures of my most favorite thing in the whole entire world! Her name is Titi (short for Nefertiti). She is a 5 years old and about 5 pounds. A completely spoiled rotten little girl! Titi is sporting her custom-made Etsy harness from Bratpacks.

More sales!
My poor blog is neglected. I have a full-time day job and I am also working a part-time job for the rest of this month. That in addition to my Etsy shop has been keeping me insanely busy!!!
I am up to 4 sales already! I also have a friend who wants a specific Worry Not doll that I will be working on tonight.
Here is my newest listed item:
When I have more time, I will write more here. :o)
Until then....
Haapy 29th Birthday Nick!!!!

Made a Sale!
I made my first sale on Etsy! Ok, it was to a friend, but it is still a great feeling!
When you post a new item for sale, it will appear on the main page with the other newly listed items. I get a thrill out of this and have taken a couple of screen shots. I put a purple box around my items.
I am also venturing into learning some new techniques involving beadweaving. Here is my first experiment piece.
It was so much fun to make! I think I am obsessed with making them now. :o) I have made a few more and even turned a couple into earrings, which I will get in my shop as soon as I take some pictures (tomorrow, hopefully!).

Added another item
Slowly, I am getting things listed in my shop. I just added my first Worry Not Doll.
Taking pictures is tricky, but it was beautiful and sunny out yesterday so I ventured outside to take some pictures. I have to say it was MUCH easier to take pictures outside in the natural light than trying to learn all the tricks of using a photo box. I will keep trying to use my photo box just because it won't always be warm and sunny (although I sure wish it was!).
I spent about 5 hours last night creating a new product. I have to perfect it a bit more before I actually put it in my shop. But it was lots of fun to create and I am going to keep practicing. Nick thought I was nuts because of how long I spent on it. But I am just learning and I imagine I will get faster as I get better.
I have a stock pile of products to list on Etsy. Since it is better to not list everything all at once, I will probably add another listing later on tonight. I am going to get my store stocked!

Photo reshoot
The picture with the whitish background is my first photo attempt. Something was not quite working right. It was not capturing the color of the bracelet. So after working for a while, I couldn't stand it anymore and took a new picture. I changed the background color and how I had my photo studio set up. It is still not perfect, but I think it looks a lot better than my first attempt. I think there is too much of a shadow on the bracelet with the red background. That will be something for me to work on.
